01 ⏤ Bio

I believe that designers have the responsibility to make conscious, meaningful creations. Design doesn’t stop at the computer, it extends to all facets of life: fine art, music, architecture, fashion and culture. We’re meant experience good design viscerally - a beautifully decorated room, a well made cup of coffee in your favourite mug, or the sound of bass notes through really good speakers. Design is deeply integrated into our every day.

I have 7 years of education and hold a BA as well as two certificates from studying graphic and web design, digital media, fine art, music, and art history at UBC, UVic, NIC, and Aberystwyth University in the UK and use this multidisciplinary approach in my work.

Meet and Plan

This is the part where I get to know you and your brand. You will complete a questionnaire to help with positioning, audience, goals and values. After reviewing, I’ll present this with some gathered imagery for inspiration to make sure that we’re on the same page with the visual direction that we want to go in.

Refine

Undoubtedly little adjustments will need to be made. We will work through two revisions of the presented concept, figure out what's working well and where there may be further opportunity for growth.

Explore and Create

Using the creative direction document as a guide, I’ll start sketching and exploring what works best for your brand.

I’ll give you a few concepts to look over, and we’ll talk about them in depth.

Deliver

As we are finalizing the logo details we'll also narrow down the colour story and type hierarchy. If your brand requires additional design elements, such as patterns or graphics or business cards we will tackle those next. Final files are sent to you, and the project is launched ☆
